Joan M. Boddicker

Attorney Joan Boddicker received her law degree from the University of Iowa College of Law in 1994, and is licensed to practice law in Minnesota. Prior to law school, Joan received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting from the University of Iowa and worked four years as an auditor for the State of Iowa. After moving to Minnesota, Joan worked as a judicial law clerk, a Certified Public Accountant, and a practicing attorney. In 1999, Joan obtained a Masters in Business Taxation degree from the Carlson School of Business at the University of Minnesota. Joan has been admitted to practice before the United States Tax Court.

Joan has advised clients on a range of issues including the purchase and sale of businesses, sale and use taxes, employee benefit plans, HIPAA compliance, business succession planning, business formation and dissolution, and creating and maintaining family limited partnerships. Over the years, she has helped organize a number of non-profit groups.

When not working at the office, Joan keeps busy as the mother of four daughters. In her free time, she serves on the governing board of the Cued Speech Association of Minnesota and is active with St. Joseph Catholic Church School.
